The Ash of War - Square Off is one of the many equippable Ash of War Weapon Skills found throughout Elden Ring, and one that you can equip to your weapon to give it new weapon skills and scaling effect.
Description
This Ash of War grants an armament the Quality affinity and the following Skill:
Square Off: This skill starts with the sword held level. Follow up with a normal attack to slash upwards through the enemy's guard, or a strong attack to perform a running thrust.

The Ash of War - Lion's Claw is equippable on straight swords. It grants the Square Off skill to use.

- This Ash of War can be obtained by journeying along the Siofra River Well to its north side where a large aqueduct gate is built into the rock walls above on the left. It's here that you'll find a large overlook to the northwest below one of the obelisks you can light, and a lone scarab sits near the edge by the falls.
