The Circle’s Dan is one of the favourites to win the brand new reality TV game show.
The 28-year-old is playing himself, which automatically gives him a leg up on the competition considering two of the ‘fake players’ have already been eliminated from the game.
Dan is striking up a close bond with single mum Genelle, with the two sharing more private chats than anyone else locked inside the luxury London apartment.
But who is the real Dan? Is he single? What does he do in the outside world?
Who is Dan?
Dan is a former estate agent who recently became unemployed.
The 28-year-old is from London.
Is Dan Single?
Yes, Dan is single – which opens up the door for Genelle.
Dan is yet to talk about whether he is single or not on The Circle, although he confirmed the information in a post-production interview.
He also came across as very cocky during this interview, something we are yet to see inside of The Circle. Dan stated that his 2,000+ Instagram following is due to one reason.
Responding to the question “have you got lots of followers?”, Dan said:
I reckon 90% of my followers are female and there’s only one real reason for that. That’s difficult for me to know that because I’m a man, so I want to have sex with everyone. I want to have sex with 90% of my followers!
Okay. I’m obsessed with #TheCircle .. Dan & Genelle just need to date and be together please. (I’ve just watched Episode 1 and I am HOOKED).

Is Dan’s Turtle Real?
Yes, thankfully Fiji the turtle is really Dan’s pet.
There were rumours that Fiji could have been part of Dan’s character or brought in to keep him company.
However, we can confirm that Fiji keeps Dan company 24/7 in the real world.
What Else do We know?
Looking at Dan’s Instagram, he obviously spends his entire time in The Circle apartment either cooking or working out in the gym.
The gym buff is in phenomenal shape and could definitely feature in some more raunchy reality TV series with a rig like this…
Dan has been on TV before!
He featured on ITV show Meet The Parents back in October 2016.
Meet The Parents is a dating series where a singleton attempts to find the ideal partner by quizzing their potential suitor’s mum and dad.
In this case, it was Dan’s mum and auntie who was on the show receiving an interrogation about Dan.
